Dexlite Holds at IDR 23,700 in October 2026; Subsidised B50 Biosolar Fixed at IDR 6,800 per Litre

Jakarta — Pertamina has left its non-subsidised fuel prices unchanged in October 2026, the first month with B50 at all fuel stations. According to InvestorTrust, which checked prices at 06:00 WIB on 1 October 2026, Dexlite remains at IDR 23,700 per litre and Pertamina Dex at IDR 25,200 per litre, while subsidised B50 diesel (Biosolar) is fixed at IDR 6,800 per litre.

PT Pertamina Patra Niaga made no price adjustment for October, so the price list is the same as in September. Prices for DKI Jakarta and surrounding areas are as follows.

InvestorTrust also noted that Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Bahlil Lahadalia has said the government will not raise subsidised fuel prices until the end of the year.

The early-September jump

Current prices are the result of an increase on 1 September 2026. According to Pasardana, Dexlite rose from IDR 19,700 to IDR 23,700 per litre (about 20%), Pertamina Dex from IDR 21,150 to IDR 25,200, and Pertamax Turbo from IDR 18,300 to IDR 19,600. Pertamax and Pertamax Green were not raised.

Kitty Andhora, VP Corporate Communication at Pertamina Patra Niaga, as quoted by Antara, said the adjustment follows the formula set by the government, taking into account global crude oil prices, the rupiah exchange rate, taxes and public purchasing power.

Where biodiesel sits on the price map

For comparison, CNBC Indonesia (31 July 2026) reported that the economic price of diesel was in the range of IDR 19,000–21,000 per litre, with B50 Biosolar for subsidised consumers kept at IDR 6,800. According to the report, Bahlil said non-subsidised B50 prices are set by fuel companies based on the government formula.

Meanwhile, the biodiesel market index price (HIP) for October has been set at IDR 15,072 per litre, excluding transport costs (see October 2026 Biodiesel HIP Rises to IDR 15,072 per Litre). The HIP is a reference price for the FAME component, not a retail price: incentives from the Plantation Fund Management Agency (BPDP) cover the gap between the biodiesel HIP and the diesel HIP, while the retail price of Biosolar is set by the government.

The reports we found do not break down the biodiesel component in the prices of Dexlite or Pertamina Dex, so the direct effect of B50 on non-subsidised product prices cannot yet be determined.
