Biodiesel HIP (Market Index Price)
Biodiesel HIP is the monthly Market Index Price for biodiesel set by the Energy Ministry as the basis for paying for biodiesel; October 2026 is IDR 15,072 per litre.
The formula (Energy Ministry Decree 3.K/EK.05/DJE/2024) is: HIP = (average CPO KPB price + US$85/tonne) x 870 kg/m3 + transport cost, using the Bank Indonesia mid-rate. The published figure excludes transport cost, which is added separately by region.
October 2026 HIP is IDR 15,072 per litre (September IDR 15,025; August IDR 14,924; July IDR 14,562). The gap between biodiesel HIP and diesel HIP is the basis of the incentive paid by BPDP. HIP is not the retail price of Biosolar.
