KPBN (Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara)
KPBN (PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara) is Indonesia's domestic physical auction market for CPO and palm kernel, whose prices are a reference for many transactions and calculations.
KPBN, a company linked to the state plantation sector, runs physical CPO auctions. Its auction prices are used as the domestic CPO reference, including in the biodiesel HIP formula, which uses the CPO KPB price (average from the 25th of two months back to the 24th of the previous month).
Alongside KPBN there is the ICDX derivatives exchange. KPBN prices also underpin FFB price setting in several provinces.
