CPO Reference Price
The CPO Reference Price is the monthly benchmark set by the Trade Ministry to calculate export duty and export levy; October 2026 is US$1,042.15 per MT.
The October 2026 reference price was set at US$1,042.15 per MT (up 3.44%) by Trade Ministerial Decree 1921/2026. It uses the average of the Indonesian, Malaysian and Rotterdam exchanges; if the gap exceeds US$40, the two sources closest to the median are used.
From it the export duty (US$178/MT) and export levy (12.5% of the reference price) are derived. It changes every month.
