MPOB (Malaysian Palm Oil Board)
MPOB (Malaysian Palm Oil Board) is the Malaysian government agency for the palm industry that publishes monthly data on Malaysian palm oil production, stocks and exports.
MPOB data, especially end-month stocks, are closely watched because they move CPO prices on the Malaysian exchange, one of the inputs to Indonesia's reference price. It is usually released around the 10th of each month.
MPOB also hosts the PIPOC conference. Its Indonesian counterpart in data publishing is GAPKI.
