Road test
A road test trials a biodiesel blend in real vehicles and engines before the blend level is raised, to confirm performance and durability.
Before raising a blend, the government works with vehicle makers, Lemigas and stakeholders to run road tests across automotive, heavy equipment, rail and maritime sectors. The results inform the setting of B50.
