A global palm oil industry forum

PIPOC is an international congress and exhibition organised by MPOB, the Malaysian government agency responsible for the palm oil sector. Forums of this kind typically bring together producers, traders, researchers and policymakers to discuss markets, technology and the direction of the global palm oil industry.

Relevance for biodiesel

Malaysia and Indonesia are both palm oil producers that make biodiesel part of their energy policy. Indonesia, meanwhile, has run a B50 mandate since 1 July 2026 and across all fuel stations since 1 October 2026, with B60 under study for 2027.
