Biosolar
Biosolar is Pertamina's subsidised diesel (a designated fuel type) containing biodiesel per the mandate, now B50, with a retail price of IDR 6,800 per litre.
Biosolar is sold at fuel stations for the PSO segment such as public transport, public services, farming and micro-businesses. Its price is set by the government and as of 1 October 2026 remained IDR 6,800 per litre; the Energy Minister said subsidised fuel prices would not rise before year-end.
The gap between biodiesel and diesel prices is covered by BPDP, not consumers. Do not confuse it with non-subsidised Dexlite.
