PSO / non-PSO
PSO (Public Service Obligation) is the subsidised distribution segment, such as Biosolar for public services; non-PSO is the commercial segment such as industry, mining and private transport.
Biodiesel allocation is split into two segments. The 2026 allocation reported by Argus (29 July 2026) was 16.7 million kL in total, made up of 8.2 million kL PSO and 8.5 million kL non-PSO. Decree 439.K/EK.01/MEM.E/2025 had earlier set PSO at 7,454,600 kL and non-PSO at 8,191,772 kL (total 15,646,372 kL).
