Jakarta — The latest available official-setting reports as of 28 October 2026 show higher fresh fruit bunch (FFB) reference prices for 10–20-year oil palms in Riau, Jambi and West Sumatra, while two Aceh pricing regions fell against their previous recorded points. Riau's partner plasma growers receive a reference of IDR 3,765.41/kg and partnered independent growers IDR 3,700.29/kg for 28 October–3 November. Jambi's rate for 23–29 October is IDR 3,679.34/kg; West Sumatra's for 22–31 October is IDR 3,748.80/kg. These are set reference prices, not a guarantee of every farmgate transaction.

Six FFB series, compared with previous recorded periods

The changes are calculated against the preceding points in each series in the Media Biodiesel price hub. Riau distinguishes plasma partners from partnered independent growers. Aceh uses eastern and western pricing regions, not a uniform price for all its districts.

All table prices refer to palms aged 10–20 years. Aceh changes are against the last stored points beginning 7 October; the other comparisons use the immediately preceding period. The eastern and western labels refer to the Aceh provincial authority's pricing regions, not specifically to East Aceh or West Aceh districts.

Riau advances alongside Jambi and West Sumatra

InfoSAWIT reported that Riau's FFB pricing team met on 27 October. For 10–20-year palms, it set IDR 3,765.41/kg for plasma partners and IDR 3,700.29/kg for partnered independent growers, both effective 28 October–3 November. Higher Riau figures often used in headlines—IDR 3,785.87 and IDR 3,739.83/kg—apply to nine-year-old palms. They must not be mixed into this 10–20-year comparison.

Agricom reported Jambi's IDR 3,679.34/kg reference for 23–29 October, up IDR 45.32/kg for plasma growers with 10–20-year palms. InfoSAWIT reported West Sumatra's IDR 3,748.80/kg for the same age group for 22–31 October, up IDR 53.44/kg. Both reports describe provincial price-setting meetings; this article does not rely on the original signed decisions for its figures.

Aceh declines; crude palm oil benchmarks differ

AJNN reported Aceh's agricultural and plantation office setting IDR 3,510/kg for plasma partners in its eastern region and IDR 3,478/kg in the western region for 21 October–3 November, both for 10–20-year palms. Each is below the respective previous point in the site's series. Because the geographical scope and grower categories vary, this table should not be read as a directly comparable ranking of what all farmers receive.

The site's crude palm oil price page records a KPBN physical tender price of IDR 14,888/kg on 27 October and a third-month Bursa Malaysia futures price of MYR 4,701/tonne on the same date. Those market benchmarks differ from the weighted CPO prices used by provincial teams to calculate FFB prices. The Riau plasma report, for instance, cites IDR 15,112.11/kg weighted CPO from sales on 19–25 October. Different periods and mechanisms mean a local FFB move cannot be inferred from one KPBN tender quote. Check each series' date and source before using it for a transaction.
